Located South of the Railroad project on the southern edges of the Carlin Trend

Overview

The RC nevada gold mining project represents an early-stage target opportunity located within the north-south trending Independence-Eureka gold belt. Altered, Chainman sandstone is exposed along the flanks of what appears to be two major intersecting structures trending west-northwest and north-south, respectively, exhibited in figure 1. These major potential feeder structures are interpreted from the residual gravity results represented on figure 2. A magnetic high, interpreted to be an intrusive – a possible early Tertiary gold-generating heat source – lies of the flank of the north-south structure to the east figure 3.

The only two historic holes drilled on the property failed to intersect, and therefore properly test, the Webb-Devils Gate contact and Devils Gate targets represented in figure 4. In essence the property has to date been completely untested. Gold Standard Ventures intends to provide the first test of this discovery opportunity.
